About Anni
Anni is not your typical fashion founder — she’s a full-time engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering who set out to prove something bigger than herself. Coming from a family that looked down on her simply for not being a man, she worked twice as hard to break barriers in a field where women are constantly underestimated.
But her story didn’t start in STEM. Back in high school, Anni was already designing clothes and handcrafting jewelry — not for trends, but to help people feel bold, seen, and unapologetically themselves. Fashion was her first love — engineering was her way of proving she could do what men said she couldn’t.
Years later, after being bullied and disrespected in the workplace, Anni realized: what’s the point of being an engineer if you’re not respected, supported, or even passionate about it? That was the moment she came back to fashion — and started building Call Me Señorita.
Her mission is deeper than style. After being told, "You can't take off just because you're not happy," she knew something had to change — not just for herself, but for others too. Now, her goal is to generate $10 million to fund mental health rebates for people who’ve been silenced, overlooked, or burned out by toxic work environments.
Because no one should have to choose between success and their sanity.
And sometimes, wearing something that makes you feel powerful is the first step back to yourself.
